Michael has been with Deloitte Consulting LLP for 17 years: two years in client service, followed by a hiatus of four years during which he earned PhD from the Harvard Business School, and the last fifteen in a variety of research and client team support roles. He has published four books: "The Innovator's Solution" and "The Innovator's Manifesto", both on the topic of disruptive innovation, "The Three Rules" on strategy, and "The Strategy Paradox" on strategic uncertainty. The ideas and concepts in these and related publications are the foundation of his client work, which focuses on innovation and corporate strategy. He has worked in many different industries, including high-tech, manufacturing, and financial services, but his focus areas have been healthcare (especially pharmaceuticals and devices) and telecommunications.
